I had the opportunity to choose a hiking trail that had poor signage or no signage and design new signs for the trail with good wayfinding. I chose a small hiking trail that I used to go to a lot in Brickerville, PA called Devil's Potato Patch.
I chose navy blue and yellow as the colors to represent Pennsylvania, because the trail was part of a state park. I kept the fonts and icons very simple and bold so that everything could be easily seen and understood. Unfortunately my designs did not end up getting picked, but I still had a good time doing this project.
